Connect an entity to Xero

This article will explain how to connect and entity within Hero Blue to an entity within Xero.

Instructions

1. Once an entity is created within Hero Blue you can connect it to the relevant Xero entity.

2. From the entities screen in https://portal.heroblue.com.au/ select the relevant entity.

3. Click the “Connect to Xero” button

4. You will be redirected to Xero, if you are not logged in you will be required to log into Xero using your Xero credentials.

5. You will be asked to authorise Hero Blue to access the relevant Xero organisation, select the relevant organisation from the drop down menu, or if you have previously authorised Hero Blue to access the desired organisation it will be greyed out in the drop down menu and you can click “Continue with xx organisations” button to continue.

6. Upon returning to Hero Blue you will be presented with a dialog which will allow you to select which Xero entity you wish to connect to the relevant Hero Blue entity, select the entity from the drop down and click confirm.

7. Your entity is now connected. The “Connect to Xero” button will now be replaced with a “Disconnect from Xero” button for this entity.
