Migrate entities

This article explains how you can migrate entities between HeroBlue Organisations.

Instructions

1. Go to https://portal.heroblue.com.au/

2. Ensure you are in the organisation which has the entities you are wanting to migrate.

   Note

   To migrate an entity you need to be an admin of the sending organisation and have at least member access or greater in the receiving organisation.

3. Select Organisations in the left hand side menu.

4. That will open up a sub menu, in the sub menu, select Migrate Entities.

   Migrating entities that are connected to Xero!

   • If you are migrating entities that are connected to Xero the Xero authentication will transfer.
   • If the receiving organisation doesn’t have enough available connections or an active subscription then you will be unable to transfer.

5. Click each checkbox under the migrate heading for the entity/entities you wish to migrate

6. Once you have selected the entities you wish to migrate, click the Migrate Entities button.

7. Select the receiving organisation you wish to migrate to.

8. Click Confirm

   Note

   There can only be one account owner, this role controls the subscription and owns the entities and relevant schedules underneath.
