Connect an entity to Xero

This article explains how to link a Hero Blue entity with its corresponding Xero entity.

  1. After creating an entity in Hero Blue, you can connect it to the relevant Xero entity.

  2. From the entities screen at https://portal.heroblue.com.au/, select the appropriate entity.

  3. Click the “Connect to Xero” button.

  4. You will be redirected to Xero. If you’re not already logged in, enter your Xero credentials.

  5. Authorize Hero Blue to access your Xero organisation. Select the organisation from the dropdown menu, or if Hero Blue has previous authorization, click “Continue with xx organisations” to proceed.

  6. Back in Hero Blue, a dialog will appear allowing you to select which Xero entity to connect. Choose from the dropdown and click confirm.

  7. Your entity is now connected. The “Connect to Xero” button is replaced with a “Disconnect from Xero” button.
